Development Program

Our Underwriting & Analytics Development Program (UADP) sits within our Evernorth Health Services division. This 18-week accelerated development program provides you with extensive learning opportunities. The program includes a mixture of instructor-led classroom training, self-study, and group project work.


If you’re looking for a career that will allow you to directly impact business results, as well use strong analytical and math skills, then starting your career within Evernorth's Underwriting & Analytics team will allow you to do all this and more. 


Our program, comprised of a summer internship and a full-time training program, is designed to provide you with the instruction needed to become a successful underwriter within our Underwriting and Analytics team.


You'll be provided technical training through our extensive curriculum, comprised of group learning, mentorship, and networking opportunities. But you won’t spend all your time in a classroom setting learning about hypothetical situations. Instead, we believe in letting you learn by making a real difference to our business through meaningful group projects.
Recruiting dates:

Recruiting for this program begins annually in mid-August and runs until November


Positions will re-open in January and close in March if opportunities remain available.

Who we hire:

Recent graduates who have received their Bachelor's degree with 0 - 3 years of work experience.


Preference for the following major and/or minors are preferred: Risk Management, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Finance
Program timeframe:

Our program lasts 18 weeks

Not quite ready for full-time? Check out our summer internship.


As a summer intern, you'll spend 10 weeks with us doing meaningful project work. During this time, you'll also contribute to an intern group project, participate in community service initiatives, and attend speaker series. And the best part? Interns who continually impress us will be invited to join Evernorth Underwriting and Analytics full-time when they graduate.


Internships are available to rising seniors in any of our physical office locations.


Recruiting runs annually from August to November.
