The Cigna Group (“Cigna”) sometimes uses an artificial intelligence tool called Fit Score, developed by Phenom, to support our hiring processes for U.S.-based roles. Fit Score screens applications using the information submitted by candidates and compares that information to the requirements of the job. The purpose of Fit Score is to help recruiters organize and review applications. Fit Score is one of many tools available to our recruiters, and recruiters are not required to use Fit Score. Our recruitment and hiring processes are always human-led, and humans alone make decisions about who to move forward in the hiring process.
