Notice About AI Use

The Cigna Group ("Cigna") is committed to using artificial intelligence (AI) responsibly and ethically. As part of our hiring process, we may use AI-enabled tools where legally permitted, but always with human oversight. 

Our recruitment and hiring processes are always human-led and designed to provide the best possible candidate experience. AI tools may assist recruiters, but people—not AI—make decisions about which candidates move forward in the hiring process. 

Currently, the following AI-enabled tools may be used to support hiring for U.S.-based roles:
  • Fit Score, developed by Phenom. Fit Score uses information submitted in a candidate’s application to compare skills and experience with the requirements of the role. Its purpose is to help recruiters organize and review applications more efficiently.  
  • AI Recruiting Agent, developed by Phenom. The AI Recruiting Agent may be used during the early stages of the hiring process to ask role-related questions and collect candidate responses. Its purpose is to support recruiter review and provide a consistent screening experience.  

These tools are only some of the resources available to recruiters.
